Backyard Drainage System Installation

This project involved the transformation of a frequently flooded backyard, which had become a concern for the homeowners. Our team at ZTM Construction, LLC was tasked with devising an effective drainage solution to manage excess water efficiently.

The primary activity involved the installation of a 4-inch corrugated ADS pipe beginning from the sump pump location. This pipe ensures proper water channeling away from the property, effectively alleviating water pooling and potential flood damage.

We also replaced an old roof drain to enhance the overall drainage performance. This was crucial, as the existing drain was no longer efficient enough to cope with heavy rainfall. By installing a new drain, we ensured that the system would handle increased water flow, protecting the property from future water damage.

One unique aspect of this project was the precision required during excavation, working around existing structures. Utilizing our compact excavator, we carefully dug trenches and laid the pipes without disrupting the integrity of the surroundings. This meticulous approach allowed us to maintain the aesthetic of the backyard while achieving a functional upgrade.
